What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist lead instructors with feedback and grading for online courses
- Facilitate discussion boards and moderate live sessions for student engagement
- Innovate course content and assist with technical issues as needed
- Support students in applying course concepts to contemporary business scenarios
- Collaborate with faculty to enhance the online learning experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree or equivalent education and experience
- Background in a relevant field to support course delivery and instruction
- Competency in modern business principles and practices
- Previous experience in online education or teaching preferred
- Completion of a Penn State online master’s or graduate certificate is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with the specific subject areas listed in the job description, such as Financial Accounting, Marketing Management, and Supply Chain Management
- Previous experience working with adult learners or in a professional educational setting
- Knowledge of online teaching tools and technology
