What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with customers to analyze load profiles and identify low/no-cost energy efficiency opportunities
- Develop technical resources and training materials to support internal teams and improve customer engagement
- Collaborate with the Measurement and Verification team to assess performance results of energy reduction strategies
- Provide expert technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex customer issues
- Participate in ongoing learning and training to enhance technical skills and contribute to various programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in peak load management, Demand Response strategy planning, or Utility DSM programs
- Strong technical knowledge of utility program implementation mechanisms for peak load management
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for presenting technical material to non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in science or technology is strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable working independently in a 100% virtual environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 4+ years of experience in the relevant field
- Technical proficiency with commercial HVAC controls programming in various BAS platforms
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Certification such as CEM, CxA, BCxP, CPE, or equivalent is preferred
- On-site field experience at commercial and industrial facilities
