What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide individualized one-on-one therapy to pediatric patients from birth to age twenty-one
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to implement home exercises and skills
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teamwork to enhance patient care
- Engage in continuous learning and mentorship opportunities within the organization
- Maintain documentation and reporting in line with best practices and regulatory requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current or pending licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the respective state
- Dedication to achieving exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in pediatric therapy settings
- Additional certifications or specializations in relevant therapy areas
- Previous involvement with mentorship or training programs
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in pediatric rehabilitation
