What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and approve modifications to existing databases and database management systems
- Instruct staff on writing and coding logical and physical database descriptions
- Direct database development and oversee project scope and limitations
- Plan and implement security measures to protect computer files from unauthorized access
- Approve and supervise the installation and testing of new products and system improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in computer development software, such as SQL and VisualBasic
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience mentoring and providing constructive performance feedback
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement system changes effectively
