      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Take initial patient histories and perform physical examinations.
      - Initiate, document, and communicate the plan of care, ensuring complete screening and preparation of patients.
      - Perform daily patient rounds and write orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests.
      - Interpret laboratory and test results, conferring with care providers to ensure quality patient care.
      - Document discharge summaries, prescriptions, and referrals on patient charts, while informing patients of post-discharge care instructions.

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree, required.
      - Graduate of an accredited program by the Accreditation Review Committee for Physician Assistant Programs (ARC-PA), required.
      - Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Department of Education, required.
      - Current NCCPA Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), required.
      - Current BLS certification, required.

      - Experience in a clinical setting as a Physician Assistant.
      - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
