What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide senior-level technical direction and supervision to project team members in the piping engineering discipline
- Establish project task schedules and budgets, ensuring successful completion of deliverables
- Review and approve complex calculations and designs, ensuring adherence to project requirements
- Prepare and review major system specifications and participate in bid evaluations and negotiations
- Actively participate in design reviews to ensure quality, constructability, and operability of projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- P.E. license
- 10 or more years of relevant experience in piping engineering
- Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience navigating a 3D CAD model
- Familiarity with AutoPIPE or PIPESTRESS software
- Knowledge of gas dynamics and hydraulic transients
- Understanding of pipe condition assessment
- Experience with ANSYS Workbench and Mechanical ADP
