What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Architect, design, and deploy low-latency AI software for smart cabin initiatives on edge hardware
- Lead the optimization and deployment of machine learning models for resource-constrained edge devices
- Oversee integration of AI pipelines with infotainment operating systems like Android Automotive OS and QNX
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance feature ambition with compute constraints
- Mentor senior engineers and establish best practices for code quality and system performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or architectural role
- Expert-level proficiency in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and Python
- Proven track record of shipping commercial software in automotive infotainment or deeply embedded systems
- Hands-on experience optimizing and deploying ML models to edge hardware
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extensive experience with Android Automotive OS, specifically Vehicle HAL and native C++ services
- Experience integrating advanced Voice Assistants or Driver Monitoring Systems into embedded environments
- Familiarity with automotive functional safety standards and cybersecurity protocols
- Advanced degree focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Embedded Systems
