What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural customers to drive product sales and revenue
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage inventory and coordinate logistics for product distribution
- Conduct outreach programs to educate customers and local agricultural communities on biosolids benefits
- Ensure compliance with fertilizer regulations and land application permits in coordination with the Environmental Compliance Department
- Respond to biosolids land application complaints, including site visits and interactions with local officials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Required knowledge and experience in the use and recycling of biosolids
- Associate's degree in Soil Science, Agronomy, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Prior experience in an agricultural environment is favored
- Certification in crop advisory, agronomy, or related disciplines is a plus
- Willingness to learn about federal, state, and local regulations regarding fertilizer sales and distribution
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Sales experience is desirable
- Experience with Netsuite is a plus
- Familiarity with regulatory trends affecting biosolids and fertilizers
