What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review medical records thoroughly to abstract and code facility and physician professional services accurately
- Follow Official Coding Guidelines to assign appropriate ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 PCS codes with high accuracy
- Provide documentation feedback to clients and account managers
- Maintain coding reference information
- Resolve pre-accounts receivable edits and identify repetitive documentation problems

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- AHIMA or AAPC Certification
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare medical coding; Pro Fee experience required
- Proficient knowledge of ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 PCS
- Professional level skills in MS Office products

- Strong critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in typing with an effective pace
