What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate Right-of-Way (ROW) certifications and federal aid reimbursements for real estate projects
- Review and prepare ROW certification requests in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide statewide acquisition and relocation assistance to regional offices
- Assist with property tax, land title services, and condemnation activities
- Support environmental services for wetland mitigation projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in any major
- Three years of professional experience in real estate equivalent to a Property Analyst, including one year at the Property Analyst P11 level
- Ability to submit official college transcripts and/or foreign degree evaluations if applicable
- Valid Michigan Real Estate license or Broker's license may be advantageous
- Willingness to travel statewide as required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Valid Michigan Real Estate license or Broker's license
- Experience in property tax assessments, legal descriptions, and surveys
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws regarding real estate projects
- Strong report creation and correspondence maintenance skills
- Previous experience in a government agency or public service
