What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute PR strategies that align with organizational goals and public education efforts
- Lead the development of integrated communication plans across various media and public channels
- Cultivate relationships with journalists, media outlets, and community partners
- Monitor media coverage and manage responses to inquiries and public issues
- Support crisis communications and reputation management efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or strategic communications
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
