      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Retrieve and review claims from the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for accuracy
      - Ensure correct charges, diagnosis pointers, modifiers, and NDCs, avoiding duplicates
      - Communicate effectively with relevant personnel regarding questions or concerns
      - Approve and batch claims while addressing any exceptions or front-end rejections
      - Monitor trends and recommend additional scrub rules as necessary

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent required
      - Minimum of eighteen months of experience in a medical office reimbursement department
      - Comfortable using email and Internet applications
      - Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and familiarity with practice management software
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with diagnosis coding and understanding carrier guidelines
      - Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits forms and the insurance billing process
      - Previous participation in continuing education courses related to healthcare
      - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
