What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage design and construction activities for capital projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate project communications, contract administration, and procurement activities
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with approved documents, specifications, and building codes
- Develop and maintain project scope, schedule, and budget throughout each project phase
- Establish and maintain relationships with approving authorities at federal, state, and local levels
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading project management for design and construction projects
- Proven experience in facilitating project design and construction-related meetings and presentations
- Familiarity with construction processes and building/life safety codes
- Demonstrated success in delivering major healthcare capital projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of health facility preconstruction services
- Understanding of equipment planning processes
- Experience with effective problem-solving, risk analysis, and contingency planning strategies
- Familiarity with Lean Process Improvement and Change Management
