What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and resolve complex real estate issues to support a federal agency's mission
- Conduct public records research, business case analysis, and stakeholder analysis
- Lead negotiations for land-use agreements and facilitate meetings to develop real estate strategies
- Prepare real estate action plans, decision briefs, and progress reports
- Provide full-time support to program management offices headquartered in Washington, DC
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience in federal property real estate program support
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings
- Significant experience in real estate research and analysis, including working with legal documents
- Proficiency with software tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Google Earth Pro, and Acrobat Pro
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) training
- Experience drafting and negotiating land-use agreements such as leases and permits
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance
