What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with brokers and agents to meet sales goals
- Understand the employer's diverse group products and the brokerage community
- Support new sales initiatives and manage the in-force block of business
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for product processing from sale to issuance
- Identify and procure new customer sales opportunities in the assigned territory
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to learn the insurance and financial services industry, including products and marketing practices
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Highly motivated, results-oriented self-starter with problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in insurance or financial services sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Familiarity with employee benefits products, particularly dental, vision, and hearing
- Established relationships within the brokerage community
- Experience in project management or territory management practices
