What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently conduct retirement calculations and transactions in compliance with legal and tax requirements
- Offer informal leadership and mentorship to team members and internal business partners
- Collaborate with technical and actuarial teams to resolve calculation and transaction issues
- Identify and recommend improvements for customer service processes and workflows
- Perform additional job-related duties or special projects as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an analytical field such as Math, Actuarial Science, or Statistics
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Strong mathematical, technical, and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective decision-making and organizational abilities
- High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive client data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical field
- Familiarity with Defined Benefit plans and relevant calculation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, macros, and specialized functions
- Strong mentoring, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize effectively
