What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an advisor and liaison for risk management calls from dental association members, averaging over 300 calls per month
- Research risk management issues, analyzing claims data, industry trends, and legal developments
- Collaborate with the team to identify topics for articles and publications addressing risk management issues
- Develop and present live risk management seminars to educate dental professionals on loss prevention
- Participate in the Risk Assist Program to provide targeted risk management assistance and develop personalized plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in risk management, dental office, or a similar business role
- Knowledge of insurance, dentistry, and healthcare risk management
- Demonstrated public speaking skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in risk management
- Front and/or back dental office experience
- RDA or RDH license
- Public speaking experience
