      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement action plans following adverse or sentinel events
      - Problem-solve with medical staff and departments on risk and safety issues
      - Educate UAMS employees on patient safety reporting systems and relevant topics
      - Assist in presenting educational programs that promote high reliability and safety culture
      - Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Clinical healthcare degree (BSN, RT, PT, OT, SLP, LCSW) or equivalent experience
      - Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
      - Certification in CPPS, CPHQ, and/or CPHRM within 12 months of hire
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC
      - Strong communication and customer service skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced degree in healthcare or JD
      - 3 years of clinical risk management or safety experience in an acute care setting
      - In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid rules
      - Experience in educational program development related to patient safety
      - Familiarity with patient safety event reporting systems and tools
