      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans following adverse or sentinel events
      - Facilitate root cause analyses and coordinate loss prevention activities
      - Provide ongoing education to all employees regarding patient safety topics
      - Assist in presenting educational programs that promote a culture of safety
      - Act as a liaison between patients/families and healthcare providers

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Clinical Healthcare Degree (BSN, RT, PT, OT, SLP, LCSW) or equivalent experience
      - Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
      - Certification as CPPS, CPHQ, and/or CPHRM within 12 months of hire
      - Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, EPIC, and RLDatix
      - Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations related to healthcare

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced degree in healthcare or related field, or JD
      - 3 years of clinical risk management or quality experience in an acute care setting
      - Advanced knowledge of healthcare practices, rules, and regulations
      - Experience in patient safety coaching and training
      - Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills
