What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and expand business relationships with top retail sellers through direct farm-gate calls
- Coach and train retail sellers on products, programs, and technologies to influence grower decisions
- Execute strategic plans in partnership with retail sellers, monitoring progress and outcomes
- Communicate the total acre value proposition at the farm-gate level, including brand strategies and digital tools
- Coordinate with local manufacturer representatives and manage discretionary trial seed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field plus 2 years of industry or direct sales experience, or 7 years of equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of business drivers and their impact on profitable growth
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and lead change effectively
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (Salesforce)
