What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct face-to-face calls on 30 to 40 offices per day to discuss educational programs and technology offerings
- Gather data for input into Salesforce and encourage meetings with Field Sales Consultants
- Attend all training classes and events as directed by the Regional Manager
- Develop and manage a specific target list of prospects
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 semester sales course (4 credit hours) and preferably working toward a sales degree; marketing or business majors with a sales emphasis are accepted
- Former sales experience preferred but not mandatory
- Strong customer interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet and befriend cold call prospects
- Effective time management skills and goal-oriented mindset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a sales role, even if informal or voluntary
- Passion for sales and a drive to exceed expectations
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software
