What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Educate and engage healthcare professionals on clinical evidence and product efficacy/safety profiles
- Independently drive sales performance and ensure forecasts and budgets are met or exceeded
- Build and maintain professional relationships with primary care healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff
- Develop and execute a local strategy and business plan to achieve high sales performance in the assigned territory
- Leverage emerging technologies to enhance performance and manage business opportunities effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, or related transferable sales experience
- Proven track record of high performance in a sales-focused role
- Strong understanding of the primary care market and healthcare industry
- Ability to manage multiple clients independently and demonstrate ethical behavior
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Product launch experience is a plus
- Established relationships with key stakeholders in the territory
- Proficiency in Veeva CRM and other digital communication tools
- Marketing and commercial experience with an understanding of financial processes
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment within the biotech/pharma industry
