What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide specialized academic instruction for students with disabilities and manage case loads
- Schedule and conduct Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Deliver instruction online via the Class Connect Program tailored to students' goals
- Communicate regularly with students and families through various virtual channels
- Participate in in-person state testing and required training sessions throughout the school year
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Permanent California residence (must currently reside in San Luis Obispo County)
- Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Disabilities
- California English Learner Authorization issued by CTC
- Must not have any temporary county certificates or credentials in process; all requirements must be met at the time of application
- Ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

- Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in using technology in education
- Familiarity with the needs of students with disabilities and differentiated instruction methods
