      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide specialized academic instruction for students with disabilities and manage associated casework
      - Schedule and conduct Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings for a caseload of students
      - Deliver online instruction through the Class Connect Program to meet students' educational goals
      - Communicate with students and families using various virtual platforms, including video conferencing and email
      - Attend periodic in-person meetings and training sessions throughout the school year

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Permanent California residence, specifically in San Mateo County
      - Valid and current California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Disabilities
      - California English Learner Authorization issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
      - Must meet all credentialing requirements at the time of application
      - No acceptance of temporary, expired, or out-of-state credentials

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience teaching or providing support to students with disabilities in a virtual setting
      - Familiarity with online instructional platforms and technology integration in the classroom
      - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs
