What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure smooth operation of SAP systems, including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system updates
- Analyze and resolve incidents and problems as part of 2nd and 3rd level support
- Plan, implement, and execute SAP release upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems
- Take ownership of SAP HANA technology planning and HANA migrations
- Lead or contribute to SAP Basis projects, including project management responsibilities when required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification, or several years of relevant professional experience
- Strong hands-on experience in the setup, operation, and maintenance of SAP systems
- Proven experience with SAP upgrades, patches, and database upgrades (ABAP & Java)
- Solid knowledge of at least two SAP databases, such as SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, or similar
- Business-fluent German (C1) and good command of English (B2)

- Experience or strong interest in Service Delivery Management and Consulting
- Willingness to occasionally work nights or weekends for critical activities (e.g., upgrades or go-lives)
