What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct one-on-one phone counseling sessions on a range of college admissions topics
- Provide feedback on college application essays to enhance student submissions
- Track all work in the online client registration system
- Assist a diverse group of families in navigating the education system
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience in undergraduate college admissions required; college counseling experience is a plus
- Strong editing and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and access reliable phone and internet service
- High degree of integrity, teamwork, and a positive and flexible attitude
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in college admissions and/or education counseling fields
- Strong relationship-building skills and a confident presence
- Proficiency in software applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and CRM
- Ability to perform internet research and think creatively and strategically
