What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with clients to create strategic and inspirational copy for various marketing assets
- Develop engaging and on-brand copy targeting firearms, hunting, and shooting enthusiasts
- Ensure all copy adheres to clients' guidelines and effectively communicates brand messaging
- Build knowledge of the firearms industry to provide insights and strategies
- Participate in client strategy and planning meetings as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, English, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience writing for various media with a focus on firearms
- Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other writers, merchants, and designers
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to provide a portfolio showcasing relevant work
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of firearms terminology and industry preferred
- Strong editing skills and a solid print background
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects effectively
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Experience with new media and technology trends in marketing
