What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the design of cybersecurity architecture and engineering to ensure compliance with internal and external policies
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities and risks, developing solutions that support the organization
- Oversee deployment and integration of new cybersecurity solutions in accordance with information security policies
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advising on cyber risk management and industry best practices
- Create and maintain metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of the Information Security program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in building and leading global cybersecurity programs
- At least 5 years of experience leading Security Architecture and Engineering Teams
- Industry certification required (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM)
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong working knowledge of Cyber Security Architectural and Engineering principles
- Experience adopting Zero Trust and familiarity with DevSecOps
- Knowledge of Risk, Security, or Audit frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST)
- Experience in the secondary mortgage market or equivalent financial services
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Risk Management tools
