What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and complete the technical review of electrical training programs
- Create content for various internal communication channels and product teams
- Respond to advisory questions related to multiple electrical topics through various media
- Deliver training, presentations, and lead seminars on technical topics at industry events
- Advise on the development of new and existing products, training materials, and marketing efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7-10 years of experience as an electrician, electrical contractor, electrical inspector, or electrical engineer/systems designer
- Vocational/Technical Degree/Licensure or equivalent
- Strong understanding of the NEC®
- Fundamental knowledge and experience with the Electrical Cycle of Safety™ (NFPA 70, 70E, and 70B)
- Experience with developing training materials and public speaking/training large groups
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional certification or licensure in area of expertise (i.e., engineering, contractor's license)
- Background in instructing/mentoring electrical concepts from multiple stakeholder perspectives
- Understanding of non-traditional NEC topics
- Well-versed in social media skills (Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/Twitter)
- Broad network of industry relationships providing insight into the electrical industry
