What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and manage energy efficiency and demand-side management programs
- Oversee program performance, including financial management and quality assurance
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and community stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and emerging technologies to enhance program offerings
- Represent programs at industry events and provide technical assistance to teams and partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Business, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency, clean energy program management, or consulting for utilities or public agencies
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, advanced Excel, and familiarity with project management platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with HVAC, lighting, building automation, EV infrastructure, or agricultural energy systems
- Industry certifications such as PMP, CEM, BPI, LEED-AP, or Six Sigma
- Strong client-facing, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices and energy codes
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
