What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead technical projects from concept to production, making critical decisions and delivering sustainable software
- Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on initiatives
- Write clear, testable, and maintainable code while establishing best practices for the team
- Design extensible systems and manage tech debt with a focus on quality and sustainability
- Mentor and elevate team members by sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of engineering excellence
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience leading technical projects at scale, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management
- Strong full-stack engineering skills with a deep understanding of modern web development, API design, and system design
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate tradeoffs and influence decisions across teams
- Ability to balance urgency with craftsmanship, delivering quality engineering without cutting corners
- A history of mentoring engineers and supporting team growth
