What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead technical projects to enhance how engineers build, test, and ship code at the employer
- Migrate off legacy frameworks and introduce modern frontend tooling
- Upgrade shared libraries and improve support for the internal design system
- Optimize local development processes, including build, bundling, and hot reload times
- Mentor teammates and establish best practices for code quality and maintainability
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of delivering high-impact projects
- Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (TypeScript, SolidJS/React)
- Deep experience with developer tooling, including build systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to modernize complex codebases and ensure long-term maintainability
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication across teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience organizing and leading projects that involve multiple engineers
- A proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and designing scalable solutions
- Familiarity with the employer's tech stack, including AWS and various backend technologies
