      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Guide and mentor a team of software engineers and data scientists in delivering products for the Global Monitoring Service
      - Ensure efficient shipping of product improvements and features while unblocking team members
      - Collaborate with product management to define strategy and make tactical decisions
      - Refine and implement team processes, including task planning and code reviews
      - Establish sound engineering practices for software development and training pipelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 6+ years of related experience in engineering management
      - 4+ years of experience managing diverse, geographically dispersed teams
      - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
      - Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, statistics, and machine learning

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with sensor or geospatial data product development
      - Background in working with satellite or airborne earth observation data
      - Interest in defense, intelligence, or spatial imagery applications
