What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the procurement of assigned categories to mitigate risk and enhance enterprise value
- Establish proactive engagement rhythms with senior leaders and business partners to align plans
- Continuously scan global trends and benchmark peers to translate insights into strategy
- Drive the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle and develop innovative contracting approaches
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and strategic alliances to ensure compliance and standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management (SCM)
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with strong influencing abilities
- Proven experience in negotiating large and complex commercial agreements
- Ability to monitor and manage supplier relationships and performance independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA
- Completion of a SCM-related professional certification, such as PMAC or ISM
