What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct programming and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Supervise residential staff assigned to individuals' homes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including First Aid and CPR
- Communicate effectively with individuals and staff, both in writing and verbally
- Be on-call for assigned groups as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with no more than five points and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification (training provided if not certified)
- Must be detail-oriented with competent literacy and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals; supervisory experience preferred
