What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and evolve the organization management system, including multi-level structures and provisioning via SCIM
- Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) with fine-grained roles and permissions
- Extend enterprise settings and policies across various products to enhance security and configuration management
- Develop comprehensive audit logging infrastructure to meet customer compliance requirements
- Create admin APIs and internal tools that support enterprise administrators and customer success teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience building multi-tenant organization or Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems in production
- Strong understanding of permission models, role inheritance, and policy evaluation
- Experience shipping RBAC or Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) systems
- Knowledge of the importance of correctness in authorization and security best practices
- Proficiency in end-to-end feature development, including database schema, API design, and documentation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with security policies and compliance features relevant to enterprise-level operations
- Experience with database design and scalable infrastructure solutions
- Understanding of the trade-offs between flexibility and complexity in permission models
- Ability to balance fast feature shipping with maintaining secure access patterns
