What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide legal advice and recommendations to executives and management on complex matters impacting business operations
- Evaluate potential legal issues related to business practices and advise management accordingly
- Assess the impact of new laws and regulations on business practices
- Conduct detailed legal research and consult with outside counsel as needed
- Leverage knowledge of SEC reporting and compliance to advise on complex financial matters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited school of law
- Minimum of seven years of legal experience in law firm and corporate settings
- Excellent legal research and negotiation skills
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate projects and cases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in SEC reporting, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and/or complex litigation
