What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and own the architectural vision for application platforms, APIs, data, integrations, and cloud infrastructure
- Establish and promote platform-first and cloud-native architecture principles across teams
- Lead the development of Azure cloud architecture strategies and ensure operational efficiency
- Champion DevOps practices and promote automation across the engineering organization
- Drive the architectural design for enterprise data platforms that support analytics and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Deep experience in designing and operating cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure
- Proven success in architecting highly available and scalable distributed systems
- Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD practices, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience in architecting systems in regulated environments, including knowledge of HIPAA and PCI-DSS
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading AI platforms or agentic AI systems in regulated domains
- Background in Health & Benefits, Insurance, or Financial Services
- Proven contributions to technical thought leadership, such as speaking engagements or publications
- Familiarity with improving developer experience through APIs and tooling
- Experience in leading transformations in large, distributed organizations
