      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee daily coding workflow and ensure accurate assignment of ICD-10 CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes
      - Supervise and coordinate activities of medical coders, ensuring timely and compliant coding practices
      - Maintain knowledge of medical coding laws, regulations, and best practices
      - Assist in the development of coding policies, procedures, and job aids
      - Provide ongoing education and training to staff on coding regulations and charge capture processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
      - Minimum of 5 years of coding experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
      - 3 years of coding experience for hospital and/or professional fee services
      - Knowledge of outpatient charging and OPPS rules
      - Required certifications: Certified Coding Specialist, Certified Professional Coder, Registered Health Information Administrator, and Registered Health Information Technician

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with coding auditing in a healthcare environment
      - Familiarity with ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes, HCPCS, and CPT coding
      - Strong understanding of hospital and ambulatory workflows
      - Ability to identify revenue opportunities and improve charge capture processes
      - Leadership experience overseeing a team of 4 or more employees
