What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and coordinate outpatient clinical documentation improvement (CDI) activities in collaboration with physicians and clinical staff
- Evaluate medical records for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
- Communicate effectively with clinicians to enhance documentation practices and outcomes
- Identify opportunities for improvement in documentation and coding processes
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 and HCC coding to drive results and support organizational goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HCC coding and 5 years in a clinical or CDI field
- Relevant certifications such as RN, CCDS, CDIP, RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CRC, or CCS preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office

- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
