What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the TAP liaison for approximately 19 Tribes, providing timely updates to stakeholders including DOJ management and TAP funding partners
- Build relationships with Tribal organizations; conduct remote and onsite training; assist in developing Tribal policy documentation
- Manage approximately 60 accounts per Tribe, including account creation, certification, and password resets
- Host and present over 30 monthly large group meetings, webinars, and one-on-one training events
- Oversee the TAP BIA Special Project, providing support for DOI/BIA and managing the OBV process for new locations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with an understanding of criminal justice and non-criminal justice agency processes
- Experience in Criminal Justice Environment and Law Enforcement Services (NCIC, NGI, N-DEx, NICS, CJIS Security Policy)
- Knowledge of the FBI CJIS organization and structure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Clear written and oral communication skills and customer service experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- In-depth knowledge of the CJIS Security Policy
- Experience working with federally recognized tribes
- Willingness to learn and work with underserved populations
- Background in training, faculty, or presenting experience
