What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage client relationships and oversee project teams while ensuring the accurate review of complex business tax returns
- Conduct due diligence for M&A activities, including analyzing taxable and nontaxable transactions
- Embrace technology and utilize tax software effectively to enhance workflow
- Provide constructive feedback and foster a collaborative team environment
- Maintain organized records and solve complex tax-related problems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active CPA License
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in public accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Proficiency in reviewing business tax returns, including forms 1120, 1120S, and 1065
- Experience with partnership basis adjustments and familiarity with foreign reporting requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with tax software, preferably CCH Axcess & Engagement
- Experience in a paperless work environment
- Proven ability to manage accounts receivable and financial collections
