What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create and maintain clear, accurate documentation on product functionality, troubleshooting, procedures, and best practices
- Translate Linux command-line concepts and commands into concise, user-friendly instructions
- Author step-by-step tutorials covering various technical topics such as service troubleshooting and log analysis
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance documentation in partnership with leadership
- Analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to guide content strategy aligned with business goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Subject matter expert in relevant tools and processes, with experience in authoring or editing technical content
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis techniques
- Excellent written communication skills in English, with a keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with knowledge and content management systems such as Pega and Confluence
- Hands-on experience working in Linux environments, with proficiency in reading and writing Bash commands
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a web hosting or data center environment
- Background in advanced technical customer support or technical writing
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Experience supporting or documenting systems like Fedora or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Familiarity with instructional design methodologies and tools
