What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based tools for data workflows and financial modeling
- Build, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and data models for claims repricing and financial forecasting
- Aggregate and analyze pharmacy claims data to ensure financial accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support rebate forecasting and contract modeling
- Design and implement quality control checks to ensure data integrity throughout analytical processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Public Health, Statistics, Finance, or a related analytical field
- 5+ years of progressive data analytics experience, preferably in PBM, pharmacy, or healthcare environments
- Strong SQL proficiency, including complex joins and performance optimization
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and financial modeling functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced VBA scripting and Excel automation experience
- Familiarity with SAS and Python for data processing and automation
- Expertise in pharmacy claims data and PBM contract structures
- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms
- Experience using Jira or similar ticket management systems for analytical workflows
