What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the Database Architect for NC DMV modernization initiatives
- Design and implement database solutions, ensuring data integrity and security
- Document customer requirements, design flows, and systems flows
- Lead technical training and writing test cases while executing them
- Supervise and lead IT teams in database management and solutions implementation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in database design, including SQL Server and DB2
- Proven experience in database conversion, cleansing, and migration
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must reside in North Carolina and be able to report on-site at short notice
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2 years of experience with MS Azure or MS Cloud certification
- 2 years of experience in SQL Server SSIS management and/or framework
- Knowledge of Parquet text maintenance
