What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the global business development and sales function, including team structure, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing coaching
- Develop and execute an integrated business development strategy to drive client acquisition and revenue growth
- Manage and track key sales metrics, pipeline health, and team performance across all geographies
- Maintain and grow executive-level relationships with major law firms, supporting high-value sales cycles
- Identify and evaluate new markets, customer segments, and service offerings to expand the employer's footprint
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in business development, with at least 5+ years in a sales leadership role in professional services and consulting for legal technology
- Proven track record of driving enterprise B2B sales cycles from prospecting through close, particularly with large law firms or corporate legal departments
- Deep familiarity with the legal services and legal tech space, including key buyer personas (CIOs, COOs, Managing Partners, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale a sales organization, with strong experience in team management and territory planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior executives and boards
