What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and grow sales within the Western U.S. and Western Canada through channel partners, end users, and key influencers
- Manage complex, long-term project pursuits from opportunity discovery to close
- Present products and solutions clearly, both verbally and visually
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, reinforcing the employer's reputation for quality and innovation
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts and maximizing revenue
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in business, engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of complex, technical solutions sales experience
- Experience in selling products and solutions in data centers, industrial, energy, or building environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to define customer needs and expectations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in fire protection or sprinkler systems
- Proven ability to manage and develop territories through channel partner models
- Strong presentation skills with experience delivering technical and sales presentations
- Customer-focused style demonstrating success through a 'Voice of the Customer' approach
