What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate and gather information to determine compensability by conducting interviews
- Secure and file necessary documents with the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board
- Establish reserves, authorize payments & treatment within guidelines
- Examine and authorize payment of medical bills
- Negotiate settlements and control claim process from investigation to settlement

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Prior experience in adjusting New York State workers’ compensation claims
- New York State License is required or obtained within 6 months of employment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and observe safety procedures

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in insurance claims adjusting
