What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements
- Perform set-up tasks and oversee equipment during the job run
- Troubleshoot product or equipment issues
- Effectively communicate during shifts and hand-offs
- Document activities accurately in relevant systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED or higher education
- Experience leading and training others in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical and technical skills for troubleshooting machinery
- Competent with rulers and measurements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience on Perfect Binders with up to 40 station collators
- Familiarity with hard-cover casing-in lines and packaging/cartooning lines
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and production orders
- Experience with Lean and continuous improvement practices
