      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform claim scrubs for clean claim submission and work on appeals/denials in a timely manner
      - Communicate and collaborate with billing companies, hospitals, and insurance payers as needed
      - Accurately code and submit claims for services provided by the employer's healthcare providers
      - Review and analyze patient records to determine accurate coding levels and billable services
      - Stay updated on changes to CPT and ICD-10 codes, ensuring compliance with CMS and payer guidelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - CPC certification is mandatory
      - 3-4 years of coding and/or medical office and billing experience
      - Proficiency in multiple Microsoft Office applications and EMR software functionality
      - Advanced knowledge in E&M and procedural coding preferred, along with specialty experience in Gastroenterology

      - Experience in accounts receivable or related fields
      - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
      - Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
